Frequently Asked Questions
Does om648 connecting rod work with om613 pistons?
Yes they do, however the 613 connecting rods do not work with om648 pistons because of the chamfer that om648 pistons require.
At what horsepower are upgraded connecting rods in the om648/om613 needed?
That is a tricky question, it depends also on the engine tune, how much you rev the engine and on the torque spec. Generally we recommend upgraded stock connecting rod bolts when going above 400hp and our connecting rods when going for 500hp.
