Som vi sa f\u00f6rra g\u00e5ngen har vi n\u00e5gra f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar planerade f\u00f6r n\u00e4sta s\u00e4song av CDI-motorn. Jesse kommer att g\u00f6ra ett inl\u00e4gg med mer tekniska detaljer senare men h\u00e4r \u00e4r en teaser om vad vi har planerat.

Den f\u00f6rsta uppgraderingen Jesse ville g\u00f6ra var att modifiera br\u00e4nsleledningen. Han och v\u00e5r programmerare misst\u00e4nkte att den ursprungliga designen f\u00f6r \u00e5terfl\u00f6de g\u00f6r att br\u00e4nsletrycket sjunker f\u00f6r mycket vid lyft, eller f\u00f6r mycket f\u00f6r v\u00e5r anv\u00e4ndning. Detta kan orsaka en del av eftersl\u00e4pningen och oresponsiviteten vi upplevde den h\u00e4r s\u00e4songen p\u00e5 banan. F\u00f6r att fixa detta kommer vi att modifiera br\u00e4nsleskenan och byta ut den elektroniska tryckventilen med en mekanisk.<\/p>\n

N\u00e4r vi tog is\u00e4r motorn m\u00e4rkte vi n\u00e5gra sm\u00e5 sprickor i kolvarna och mycket l\u00e4tta tecken p\u00e5 sm\u00e4ltning. Eftersom vi fortfarande skulle vilja ha mer kraft fr\u00e5n motorn \u00e4r detta lite oroande. F\u00f6r att fixa detta kommer vi att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka lindra belastningen p\u00e5 kolvarna genom att s\u00e4nka kompressionshastigheten. Eftersom vi ocks\u00e5 kommer att g\u00f6ra en ny version av v\u00e5ra injektorer m\u00e5ste vi ocks\u00e5 modifiera kolvarna f\u00f6r att fungera med de nya injektorerna.<\/p>\n
