Vi har redan k\u00f6rt bilen i b\u00e4nken ett par g\u00e5nger f\u00f6r att testa de mekaniska funktionerna men motorkartan ligger f\u00f6r l\u00e5ngt p\u00e5 kartan f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 den r\u00e4tt i b\u00e4nken. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r best\u00e4mde vi oss f\u00f6r att \u00e5ka till den lokala racerbanan Kemora f\u00f6r ett par setup-varv. Bilen med nuvarande motorkarta ska ha ca 400hk. Vi packade bussen med lite verktyg och grillen och begav oss mot Kemora. V\u00e4dret var perfekt, soligt, varmt och det fanns n\u00e4stan ingen sn\u00f6 kvar p\u00e5 banan.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen fick vi ordentlig motortelemetri eller \u00e5tminstone den m\u00e4ngd vi f\u00e5r fr\u00e5n edc16-motorhanteringen. Detta \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt intressant men ocks\u00e5 en helt ny sak f\u00f6r oss s\u00e5 vi har en brant inl\u00e4rningskurva framf\u00f6r oss.<\/p>\n

Vi hade ett stort problem som vi vet om att g\u00e5 mot banan. Efter ett lyft verkade bilen kapa br\u00e4nslet under l\u00e5ng tid och turbof\u00f6rdr\u00f6jningen gjorde bilen underivabel. V\u00e5rt fr\u00e4msta m\u00e5l var att l\u00f6sa detta problem. Efter de f\u00f6rsta setup-varven hittade vi ett par l\u00e4ckor p\u00e5 bilen som snabbt \u00e5tg\u00e4rdades.<\/p>\n

Efter ytterligare ett par varv gick vattenpumpsremmen s\u00f6nder och vi var tvungna att skaffa en ny fr\u00e5n n\u00e4rmaste reservdelshandlare som inte var s\u00e5 "n\u00e4ra". Medan Wilbert och Pyry gick f\u00f6r att h\u00e4mta b\u00e4ltet stannade vi f\u00f6r att \u00e4ta en 5-stj\u00e4rnig lunch tillagad av v\u00e5r m\u00e4sterkock Anton.<\/p>\n

N\u00e4r vi v\u00e4l kom ig\u00e5ng igen b\u00f6rjade de verkliga problemen. Bilen stannade utan uppenbar anledning och var sv\u00e5r att komma ig\u00e5ng igen. Vi sl\u00f6sade bort lite tid p\u00e5 att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka \u00e4ndra motorkartan eftersom vi trodde att det var fel innan vi ins\u00e5g att vi skulle kontrollera loggern. Vi m\u00e4rkte att br\u00e4nsletrycket sj\u00f6nk innan motorn stannade. Efter det lokaliserade vi problemet till br\u00e4nslefl\u00f6deskontrollventilen, den hade rostat och fungerade inte som den ska. Jesse kommer att skriva mer om felet i sitt inl\u00e4gg senare. Vi hade ingen reserv med oss och vi hade redan slut p\u00e5 sp\u00e5rtid s\u00e5 vi best\u00e4mde oss f\u00f6r att packa v\u00e5ra redskap och \u00e5ka.<\/p>\n
