F\u00f6r 2014 var det meningen att vi skulle k\u00f6ra med en annan motor men som vanligt gick ingenting enligt planerna. N\u00e4r vi ins\u00e5g att vi inte skulle kunna g\u00f6ra den direktinsprutade motorn klar i tid best\u00e4mde vi oss f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra en reservmotor f\u00f6r att starta s\u00e4songen i tid. Motorn var en ganska normal om606 med vanlig 8mm pump, HX52 turbo (med Garrett 0,94 avgassida) och pilst\u00e4nger. Du kanske ocks\u00e5 vet att vi har bytt v\u00e4xell\u00e5dan till en T101.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Vi satte ihop motorn ganska snabbt och allt verkade g\u00e5 bra, de st\u00f6rsta problemen var att montera den nya kopplingen och v\u00e4xell\u00e5dan. Vi kunde inte f\u00e5 mer boost \u00e4n 2,2bar (borde ha varit mycket h\u00f6gre. Vi anv\u00e4nder ingen wastegate.) vid f\u00f6rsta testet och turbovingarna kom ut genom motorhuven, efter n\u00e5gra konstiga cutoff-ljud p\u00e5 h\u00f6ga varv. Efter detta bytte vi turbon till v\u00e5r gamla HX52 och vi hade fortfarande samma problem, vi trodde fortfarande att problemet kunde vara turbon d\u00e5 praktiskt taget inget annat hade f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrats. En annan turbo installerades, inte s\u00e4rskilt bra men fortfarande helt ny, och fortfarande samma problem. Vi ins\u00e5g att problemet f\u00f6rmodligen inte var turbon s\u00e5 vi b\u00f6rjade kolla allt, vi hittade n\u00e5gra v\u00e4ldigt sm\u00e5 l\u00e4ckor efter laddluftkylaren men inget som skulle ha p\u00e5verkat motorn p\u00e5 ett s\u00e5dant s\u00e4tt. Sista natten innan vi var tvungna att \u00e5ka till DHB letade vi fortfarande efter problemet och gick igenom allt igen, Kollade br\u00e4nslepumpar, br\u00e4nslefilter, boostr\u00f6r, slangar, timing, kammar och vi bytte till och med hydraullyftarna. De sista timmarna innan vi var tvungna att \u00e5ka till DHB bytte vi den mekaniska justeringen p\u00e5 insprutningspumpen (pumpun perse p\u00e5 finska). Detta \u00e5tg\u00e4rdade cutoff-problemet och vi \u00e5kte till DHB utan n\u00e5gra ytterligare tester eftersom vi redan var 17 minuter f\u00f6rsenade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">N\u00e4r vi kom till DHB fick vi en betydande effektf\u00f6rlust. Under helgen f\u00f6reslog G\u00f6ran Lindgren fr\u00e5n Dieselmeken i Aneby att vi skulle komma f\u00f6rbi och byta insprutningspump eftersom det var det enda alternativet kvar. I onsdags innan Gatebil, Mantorp k\u00f6rde vi till Dieselmeken och bytte pump, efter detta fick vi i alla fall mer boost och mer kraft. Vi \u00f6vernattade p\u00e5 Dieselmeken och \u00e5t hamburgare med G\u00f6ran och \u00e5kte till Mantorp p\u00e5 morgonen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">N\u00e4st p\u00e5 tur var Gatebil, vi kom p\u00e5 torsdagen men kunde inte testa n\u00e5got d\u00e5 banan inte var \u00f6ppen \u00e4n, p\u00e5 fredagen l\u00e4ckte br\u00e4nslepumpen s\u00e5 vi \u00f6ppnade upp den och fixade l\u00e4ckan. Teemu kom p\u00e5 banan och efter att ha k\u00f6rt igenom 15 minuter med gula flaggor var bilen \u00f6verhettad s\u00e5 han kom in igen. S\u00e4kringen i vattenpumpen gick, vi bytte den och Teemu fick n\u00e5gra varv innan bilen \u00f6verhettades igen. Vi kopplade om hela systemet och det fungerade igen. Tv\u00e5 varv senare sprang vattenslangen, n\u00e4r han kom in gick bilen p\u00e5 fem cylindrar och det fanns olja i motorrummet, vi kunde tydligt se p\u00e5 EGT-avl\u00e4sningarna att cylinder nr. 2 var d\u00f6d och alla k\u00e4nde till problemet.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">Se on niin pirullinen t\u00e4\u00e4 kone ett\u00e4 jos se aukastaan t\u00e4\u00e4l\u00e4 niin siell\u00e4 on m\u00e4nt\u00e4 sulannu mutta jos me vii\u00e4\u00e4n se hallille niin siell\u00e4 on suutin pimeen\u00e4.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">Vi hade ett sammanbrott p\u00e5 10 minuter innan vi best\u00e4mde oss f\u00f6r att \u00f6ppna upp det. N\u00e4r vi m\u00e4rkte att kolven hade sm\u00e4lt fick vi ytterligare 10 minuters haveri innan vi beslutade att vi skulle byta motor. Vi hittade en motor och killarna k\u00f6rde den till oss p\u00e5 3 timmar, n\u00e4r han kom fram till Mantorp hade vi redan lyft ut den gamla motorn. Vi best\u00e4mde oss f\u00f6r att inte b\u00f6rja byta kopplingsstag utan g\u00e5 med de vanliga. Vi jobbade i skift och fick motorbyte ungef\u00e4r mitt p\u00e5 dagen p\u00e5 l\u00f6rdagen. Det tog oss s\u00e5 l\u00e5ng tid som vi var tvungna att ta oljepumpen fr\u00e5n den gamla motorn och vi hade kortat av oljepumpskedjan som var SVETSAD!
