Alkuper\u00e4inen korkeapainepumppu (HPP) ei pysty yll\u00e4pit\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n valittua painetasoa, jos lis\u00e4\u00e4mme sen moottoriin menev\u00e4n polttoaineen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4. Siksi meid\u00e4n piti l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 isompi HEPP. Mercedes 400cdi:ss\u00e4 on sellainen, joka sopii meid\u00e4n 320cdiimme melko helposti. Se pystyy tuottamaan suuremman polttoainem\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n samalla paineella kuin alkuper\u00e4inen pumppumme. Karkeasti t\u00e4m\u00e4 HPP on 30% suurempi kuin alkuper\u00e4inen. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tarkoittaa, ett\u00e4 voimme ajaa 30% enemm\u00e4n polttoainetta suuttimien kautta ilman ongelmia paineen yll\u00e4pit\u00e4misess\u00e4. Ohjelmistosta voimme s\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4 painetta jopa korkeammaksi kuin se alun perin on. 1600 bar on vakio maksimipaine t\u00e4ll\u00e4 j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4ll\u00e4, olemme nostaneet sen 1800 bariin. Pumpun asennus oli melko helppoa, samaan aikaan lis\u00e4simme alipainepumpun 270cdi:st\u00e4 saadaksemme jarrutehostimen toimimaan. Tilasimme jopa uuden setin, mutta testattuamme niit\u00e4 injektoritestipenkiss\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4timme, ett\u00e4 emme k\u00e4yt\u00e4 niit\u00e4. Ensimm\u00e4inen testip\u00e4iv\u00e4!<\/p>\n

Suuntasimme paikalliselle kilparadalle 11.4 kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n perusohjelmistoa. Valitettavasti testip\u00e4iv\u00e4n pilasi HPP:n viallinen polttoaineen s\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6venttiili. Auto toimi hetken hyvin, mutta sitten alkoi sekaisin. Korkeapaine on eritt\u00e4in tiukasti ohjattu ECU:lla, eik\u00e4 se salli paljon toleranssia sille. T\u00e4m\u00e4n viallisen polttoaineventtiilin takia korkea paine pomppii yl\u00f6s ja alas ep\u00e4s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisesti.
