The Jacques woolly hat with tuft, black knitted beanie, 100% wool. Extremely good quality.
The Jacques woolly hat has its origins in Britain as standard issue for the British Army and Royal Navy divers, and as far back as the end of the 1800’s and early 1900’s, many hundreds of civil engineering divers were wearing the hat. Called a “cap comforter” in admiralty speak, hard hat divers were wearing this type of cozy cap while topside. We don’t dive, but in Finland it is cold enough to wear a beanie at least 8 months a year.
This beanie is the same model as our Jacques woolly cap, but it has a tuft, if you don’t like the tuft, it is easy to remove! 🙂
100% wool, 100% protection from ugly beanies.
