First we’d like to apologize for no updates to those who may have been expecting them. As you all may know, Teemu is a busy guy, after much effort to make a new car, we simply can’t find the time to build it. This is also the main reason to why you haven’t seen any new interesting posts about new turbos, compressors, gearboxes etc. Therefore, we will drive season 2012 with the old car. The old w123 has a few dents but Teemu says it’s still possible to get it going.

After a few drifting seasons with this old racecar, the crew has it pretty much figured out how to make the most of a 1980’s turbodiesel drifting car. Anyway, a lot of changes will be made, the engine will be repaired to the condition of a new one except it will have much more power. The mercedes wagon  will also be better to control with a few improvements on the steering and the torque chart 😉 Currently the w123 is ripped apart as well as it’s engine and we will update the blog every time something is done to it. Last but definitely not least, we will try to keep the boost pressure below 3,8 bar this time, it seems the Mercedes OM606 can’t take much more… 😛

Feel free to contact any of us at Black Smoke Racing in any way regarding sponsorship for 2012, peace out.
